- Marketing is about influencing people, social media has not changed how the mind works. Marketing basics still apply, if marketing was not a part of your education – read a book or take a course.
- Social media are a means – not an end.
- Have a plan; where does your target audience spend most of their time? How do you plan to get to interact with them?
- Test, test, test: everything works, not everything works for you.
- Peoples habits don’t change overnight, be patient.
